About this piece

An early Engelhard London kilo bar, with the cartouche and serial number set vertically along the face rather than in the later horizontal layout.

The bar was poured and hand stamped, and its short J-series serial points to an earlier production run. The reverse keeps its original cast surface, with the round marks left during pouring and cooling.

Viewing and collection are by appointment in Hong Kong. Spot-linked prices follow the market and are not fixed until an order is confirmed.
